You will also have access to amenities including restrooms and showers, and a dump station. When the Texas heat kicks up, our resort-style pool is the perfect spot for a quick cool-down.
And of course, you’re likely here for the water! When you stay with us, you’ll be right on the banks of Lake LBJ, and the Kingsland Community Boat Ramp is just down the way, so launching your boat or jet skis is quick and easy. If fishing is your lake day pastime of choice, Lake LBJ is known for largemouth bass, Guadalupe bass, white bass, catfish, and crappie, so it’s worth casting a line and seeing what bites. And since Kingsland sits where the Llano River meets the Colorado River, you’ll have extra pockets of shoreline and calmer stretches to explore when you want a change from open-water.
Around here, “let’s go to the lake” can mean something different every day, and that’s half the fun. Lake Buchanan is another great pick when you’re after wider, less-crowded water, longer shoreline to explore, and plenty of quiet coves for anchoring, fishing, and slow cruising. And Lake Travis offers a fun contrast. It’s known for its big marinas and easy access to boat rentals, waterfront restaurants.
